My voice is water
that washes dirty memories from my mind.

My voice is a pair of shoes
holding my feet on the difficult road ahead.

My voice is an umbrella that protects me
from the backbiting whispers of others.

My voice used to be an ash bin
of lies and deception, but now
it is an open treasure of truth and peace.
